Wood is the mainstay of homes and businesses in many parts of the world.
In the United States, for example, about 85 percent of homes are built with 2x6s, which are made from plywood.
But many home building contractors also use 2x10s, or 2x12s.
The 2×2 plywood is much more expensive than the 2x3s and 2x5s.
For example, 2×8 plywood for a home in Philadelphia costs about $30,000 and 2.5 million 2x1s for a similar home in Boston are about $20,000.
